Building an agency that stays small on purpose
Connected by craftWhy a compact core and a connected specialist network can create better work without building a larger machine.
Stay close to the work
Growth is useful only when it improves the outcome. We built Dragside around a compact senior core so the people shaping the relationship remain close to the decisions and the making.
There are fewer handoffs, less translation and a clearer line between the brief and what eventually ships.
A network, not a bench
Small does not mean narrow. We work with trusted specialists across design, development, content, growth, data and automation, assembling the right team around the assignment.
The difference is connection. The same people return, shared methods improve, and expertise enters the project without adding unnecessary management.
Measure the right thing
Headcount is easy to count, but it says little about the quality of a partnership. We care about useful work shipped, decisions made with confidence and whether a client would choose to work together again.
Staying intentionally small keeps those measures visible. It lets the studio expand for the work and contract when it is done, without making the client fund the machine in between.
